There are many resources in the Burlington and Camden counties if
you are interested in a support group or a grief counselor. Some of
the local resources are listed on this sheet. Additional resources may
be available through your faith community, senior service groups, or
local AARP. This is only a handful of the available resources; if you
know of other resources please let us know so that we can share that
information with others.
St. Joan of Arch Church - hosts two support groups
that meet monthly, one for parents grieving the death of a child and
another for bereaved adults 856-983-0077.
St. Mary of the Lakes - hosts a group that meets at a
various times throughout the year. This group utilizes a
non-denominational journaling program 609-654-8208.
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church - hosts a weekly
meeting on Wednesdays for bereaved adults. Contact the church office

Samaritan Center for Grief Support - They have a
variety of support groups for people of all ages and counseling for
individuals and families. Please pick up a current brochure available

H.O.P.E. - Brings people together in regular sessions

Compassionate Friends - The mission of The
Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive
resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to

The Center for Traumatic Grief - To provide quality,
comprehensive services to victims and co-victims (survivors) and to
reduce victims' trauma and facilitate their recovery from the
impact of victimization while advocating for their welfare and rights

Regional Counseling Services of Southern N.J. -
Located in Voorhees, offers a resource to individuals and families
experiencing grief and bereavement including; grief and loss, victims
of violence and their support network, post traumatic stress disorder,
