Obituary for Joseph Schneider

Joseph  Schneider
SCHNEIDER, Joseph P. on January 3, 2018 of Pennsauken NJ, formerly of Camden NJ and Tucson AZ. Age 94. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Kitty) Schneider (nee Smith). Loving father of David, Jeffrey, Gary, Robin and the late Dennis and the late Jacqulyn Schneider. He is the grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was born and raised in the Cramer Hill Section of Camden, attended Woodrow Wilson High School. In 1941, he began working for the Pennsylvania Railroad. In 1970, he moved to Tucson to continue working on the Southern Pacific. After his retirement in 1983 he and his wife spent many months in Marlton where they were active in Marlton Seniors. They also travelled extensively worldwide. Joseph was a long-time member of Sts. Peter and Paul in Tucson as well as a member of the 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus (Chapter 1200). Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton on Wednesday January 17 at 3:00 pm where a Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm. Interment in Marlton Baptist Cemetery will be private.
